Gorgeous photos, fabulous life!

Welcome to my newly renovated blog and thank you so much for stopping by! For those of you who have followed Loose Talk since the beginning, I thank you for your friendship, loyalty, and support. I love that so many of you remain interested in what’s happening at Studio Sinead long after your own wedding or other special event has passed. It’s very humbling to know that you care.
If you're a new friend, please make yourself at home! I’m glad you’re here and so flattered to know that you’re interested in the little pieces of my life and work that collectively make up this blog. Ready for all things modern, fresh and fun? Excellent. Let the fabulousness begin!

E Stories: Carrie+Nick | Detroit Wedding Photographer

Carrie and Nick are getting married at the beach next month. Although we can’t be with them on their wedding day, we were thrilled when they asked if we could meet them at some of their favorite spots in Ferndale for an engagement session. Absolutely! (Many thanks to our new friends at the Woodward Avenue Brewers and Dye Salon for their collaboration.) Enjoy the photos!

Sneak Peek: Katie’s Maternity Session | Ann Arbor Maternity Photographer

I don’t do many maternity sessions — former brides and referrals only — so I am always very excited when someone calls. It means that a past client is happy enough to come back for more, or that she has trusted me enough to refer a friend. I love that!
I was doubly excited when Katie called because she is among the rarest of all creatures: a client who has become a good friend. I’ve photographed her on more than one occasion and I absolutely can’t wait to meet her new daughter . A second generation Studio Sinead girl! Who would have imagined? Katie, it was truly an honor. Congratulations and I look forward to seeing you and your beautiful daughter very soon.

Sneak Peek: Mike + Rachel | Ann Arbor Wedding Photographer

Mike and Rachel’s June wedding at St. John’s, Plymouth had it all: a gorgeous day, a smiling bride, a wonderful and diverse group of family and friends (it’s not every day that you get shots of the hora at St. John’s!), the best Detroit hustle line that we have ever seen, AND the best cake that we’ve tasted since Latacia and Marcus’s wedding back in 2005. (In fact, that cake was so good that it will have it’s very own blog post later on. Zingerman’s Bakehouse, if you even need to ask.)

Although we were working, we had a wonderful time. Thanks so much for letting us be a small part of your day, Rachel and Mike. Your sneak peek is in the slide show below. (It’s long ,so give it a minute to load.) Enjoy!
